The Compliance Coordinator’s primary responsibilities include transportation and facility permit maintenance to include permit renewals and reporting requirements; safety training coordination for all drivers and plant personnel and assisting with program development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain Fleet DOT and Facility Compliance
- Assist with facility and driver compliance training for all drivers and plant employees
- Assist in the development of compliance training programs
- Prepare required permit summary reports
- Assist the with facility and transportation policy development
- Assist with compliance of the driver’s hours of service regulations. Including reviewing of logs, and log corrections as well as informing drivers of disciplinary actions as a result of violations
- Support the Facility Compliance Manager and the Transportation Compliance Manager
- Filing and general administrative tasks
- Assist with projects assigned by the Compliance Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of administrative experience
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA is a plus
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
