We're now seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our Denver based team!

As a Compensation Analyst, you'll play a key role in administrating, designing, and maintaining compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain our talent. You'll provide valuable insights to shape our compensation approach, ensuring it aligns with business goals, market trends, and compliance requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Administer and manage compensation programs, including salary, bonuses, promotions, and equity incentives, ensuring competitive and fair practices.
  • Conduct benchmarking, analyze market data, and support annual compensation surveys to maintain competitive Total Rewards offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with global and regional regulations, supporting data privacy, pay equity, and other compensation-related compliance programs.
  • Partner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and leaders to provide expert advice on compensation strategies and practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Finance and Payroll) to streamline workflows and maintain accurate compensation data and processes.
  • Monitor and audit compensation data for accuracy, enhancing workflows and documenting practices.

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience administering compensation programs in a global organization
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas
  • Experience with salary survey and benchmarking tools
  • Complex data analysis and forecasting/modeling expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics to varied audiences
  • In-depth knowledge of US federal and state employment laws and regulations related to compensation. Familiarity with compensation regulations in the UK, Ireland, Spain, and India is a bonus.

At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive compensation in line with market standards based on the role, job family, job level, and country. This exempt role’s estimated annual salaried pay range for this position is $76,666 - $110,000, and the final salary will be based on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications demonstrated in the hiring process.
