We're a curious, diverse team of 300 individuals united by one belief: Everything Is Better With Creators.
We Liberate the Creative Voice. We are Whalar.
About the role:
As a member of the community team you will be responsible for;

Helping the team and clients make better-informed decisions by translating community insights from across the creator ecosystem into compelling stories.
-
Building trust internally and externally as go-to creator experts ensures we have a far-reaching impact in our roles.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Identify and vet creators across multiple platforms for complex campaigns or new markets/categories globally.
- Maintain our creator discovery resources and agency databases to ensure they are up-to-date and searchable.
- Outreach to agencies in our network for creator suggestions.
- Identify and build relationships with key talent agencies across EMEA
- Explore and drive opportunities for closer collaboration with agency talent.
- Create slides and references which showcase communities and creators for pitches and team meetings.
- Capture first-hand feedback from creators via surveys and interviews and present summaries of key findings to the business.
- Use creator insights tools to identify creator communities based on category, interest, and demographics.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 1+ or 2+ years’ experience working in the creator and influencer space
- Culturally immersed, curious and deeply passionate about creators and the creator economy
- Detail-oriented with strong time management, organisational and interpersonal skills
- A natural networker, in their element representing Whalar at events as an expert in the field
- Proactive thinker, constantly bringing new ideas, suggestions and challenges to the team forum
- Confidence in collating and presenting data in Excel formats.
- Capable of writing persuasive and engaging short-form copy
- Can thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, flexibility and scrappiness are valued more than job titles, rigid structure and legacy working methods.
