Reporting to the Social Performance Manager, the CLO is expected to cover the following roles and responsibilities:
Assisting the Head of Department and the department in general administrative functions.
Liaise with other company functions to ensure minimal discharge of effluent, waste and other toxic materials from company operation to communities and environment.
Liaise with other company function to ensure that life, properties and environment of communities where we work are adequately protected.
Monitor and report to management, the status of community and community related behaviours /restiveness in our areas of operations...
Ensure that community projects are executed in a timely, efficient and effective manner.
Ensure that all stakeholders’ expectations are met with respect to community development.
Ensure that community grievances are addressed in a timely manner,
Provide strategic direction to company’s business through sound community relation planning process.
Provide support to the Manager in the delivery of good community relations between DCP and its catchment communities.
This is to ensure successful implementation of social policies and strategic objectives in the areas of community relations and development.
Requirements
BA in social science Management, Sociology, economics and related
Must have minimum of 2 years of experience in Community Relation/social performance
