About the Role:

E-FWD is seeking an experienced Community Manager to grow and engage our UK energy leaders’ community. You will foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and valuable connections. You’ll work across membership, commercial, marketing, and product teams to ensure a quality experience for our members.

This role is hybrid, with travel required for events and meetings. You’ll be based in Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee, or London, and will need to spend at least one day per week in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Community building and communication: 

  • Build relationships with members, including face-to-face contact, to understand their needs 
  • Support communications with members to drive engagement with online platforms, events and member benefits 
  • Serve as the main contact for member queries and feedback 
  • Manage delivery of our facilitated member networking service 

Events and content:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality small-scale in person and virtual events, and support our events team on delivery of major brand events 
  • Attend major brand events to engage with members and gather feedback 
  • Share member insights with leadership to shape content strategy 
  • Promote knowledge-sharing through content distribution 

Customer success and engagement analysis: 

  • Collaborate with subscriptions, sales and marketing teams on customer success strategies and analysis 
  • Help identify, set and manage member objectives through the membership lifecycle in tandem with the sales team 
  • Work with sales to identify commercial opportunities and risks 

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has proven community management, customer success, or account management experience working with senior executives 
  • Has excellent networking and communication skills 
  • Is inquisitive, with a passion for understanding people’s motivations 
  • Has strong organisational and project management abilities 
  • Has familiarity with B2B events, online platforms, and social media 
  • Has knowledge of the energy industry and sustainability (desirable)
