Aspire Living & Learning is a non-profit human services agency dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults and children with autism and other disabilities.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Community Companion Home (CCH) Coordinator to oversee and support Home Care Providers, ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of individuals in Shared Living arrangements. The CCH Coordinator collaborates with a variety of stakeholders—Aspire’s management team, state agencies, family members, medical professionals, and more—to create rich and fulfilling lives for the individuals we serve.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and oversee Home Care Providers to ensure individuals’ safety and needs are met.
  • Conduct regular visits and provide guidance to Home Care Providers.
  • Collaborate with Aspire’s team and community partners to support individuals’ growth and well-being.
  • Travel extensively across Connecticut to meet with providers and individuals.

Your Schedule
This is a full-time position which is typically a Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends is required to meet the needs of providers, especially for monthly visits.

Salary: $58,700/YR

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with disabilities is strongly preferred.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and enthusiasm for making a difference.
  • Basic computer skills (experience with Therap is a plus!).
