About This Role:
Hippo is looking for a Communications Specialist to help align Hippo’s brand and business goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in external and internal storytelling, giving you broad visibility into an evolving industry and the chance to make a significant impact.
You’ll drive PR initiatives and storytelling that resonate with business, consumer, employee, and industry audiences. You’ll help craft pitches and thought leadership content and generate media interviews and speaker opportunities that lead to high impact coverage. Additionally, you’ll support internal storytelling and messaging, helping prepare meeting content and resources for employees. You’ll also track and report on the effectiveness of Hippo’s broader communication program.
As a key member of Hippo’s marketing team, you’ll actively contribute to brainstorming new approaches, shaping compelling narratives for various audiences, and ensuring communications strategies seamlessly integrate with overall marketing efforts.

The SF Bay Area base pay range for this role is $67,350 - $112,250. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, location, business needs and market demands.
