Change.org is searching for a Communications Specialist to join our small but mighty team in Argentina. Every day, dozens of petitions are started on Change.org in Argentina. Our Argentine communications team is uniquely placed to offer media support to make campaigns more visible in the press and on social media and achieve impact. You will report to our Communications Manager in Argentina. As a key member of our Marketing & Communications team, you’ll be in charge of amplifying impactful stories on Change.org through strategic media and social media engagement to drive campaign success, brand awareness, and audience engagement.
A bit about Change.org: we’re the world's largest social change platform, with 100 million monthly users, over 40,000 campaigns launched on the site every month, and a 100% user-generated revenue model. Our users win campaigns for change once every hour. Just like Verónica who created a petition to ensure that people with permanent disabilities no longer have to renew their Unique Disability Certificate (CUD) or María de los Ángeles Paredes, a mother of a boy in a vegetative state who depends on a respirator and other electrical equipment, she helped inspire a law providing free electricity to electric dependents.

This is a full time, remote role based in Argentina and requires being in Buenos Aires up to 2-3 times per month. You will work remotely the rest of the time.
Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location. The annual salary of a Communications Specialist in Argentina is 12,824,080 ARS.
