Commissions Lead

Summary: This position reports to the Senior Director, Cash and Treasury and is responsible for the end-to-end commissions process. The Commissions Lead will partner with Sales to resolve commissions discrepancies and will prepare monthly and YTD summary reports for management. The position will assist in the commissions and sales incentive plan design process and will regularly model impacts versus budget or forecasts. This role may have ability to take on other responsibilities within the Treasury department.

This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Dallas, TX location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position. #LinkedIn-Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end commissions process, ensuring payouts are correctly calculated and processed
  • Prepare monthly commission and sales incentives calculations and summary reports.
  • Calculate commissions for budget and/or forecasts.
  • Develop and implement commission and sales incentives policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Sales to design and model commissions and sales incentives plans.
  • Partner with FP&A to calculate impacts versus budget and/or forecasts.

Implement a new Commissions system or develop business requirements for an automated tool using Power BI or other AI tools.

  • Identify process improvements and work with the team to achieve them.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in commissions and sales incentives process. Understands commission/sales incentive plan designs.
  • Advanced knowledge of excel and Power BI.
  • Applies critical thinking skills to independently resolve complex problems, contributing to process improvement.
  • Effectively keeps up with multiple tasks/projects, meeting timelines and utilizing resources effectively.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence throughout all interactions across all levels of the company.
  • Self-management and initiative to seek opportunities to increase efficiency.
  • Process Improvement and documentation. Able to create and improve processes and maintain and develop process documentation.

The base salary range for this position is budgeted between $77,850 - $90,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
