We are looking for a motivated and passionate Commissary Commis Chef to join our culinary team. In this role, you will assist in the preparation and production of a variety of food items in our commissary kitchen, supporting our goal of delivering high-quality meals across our outlets. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in the culinary field.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, including food production and plating.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the commissary kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Participate in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen stations and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
  • Help with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and labeling food products.
  • Assist in basic cooking techniques, including chopping, mixing, and cooking under supervision.
  • Follow instructions from senior chefs and actively seek feedback to improve culinary skills.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with other kitchen staff.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your culinary knowledge and skills.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred, but not required; culinary school graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
  • Fluency in Greek.
  • Commitment to food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
