What we are looking for in a nutshell
We are looking for a Commercial Strategy Manager to join our Growth Team and drive profitable growth for our business through wide-ranging commercial optimisation.
The Growth team is a central team working closely with Liberis’ General Manager and Executive team to guide commercial decisions. This role will be heavily involved across the spectrum of commercial strategy & operations including target-setting, pricing strategy and optimisation, targeting and sales funnel optimisation, and business casing for new products, partners and ventures.
What you’ll be doing

On-going commercial optimisation: You will work identifying, driving, and measuring growth and profitability initiatives (e.g., improving our pricing, tweaks to our sales process, new pricing frameworks, new product features).

Pricing strategy & operations: You will help scale and optimise our pricing strategy and frameworks, working with engineering teams to devise pricing algorithms, new product pricing strategy, and price sensitivity test & learn projects.

Real time monitoring and reporting of commercial performance: You will define the metrics and leading indicators of our commercial business performance. You will use this to create frameworks and develop insights into revenue and margin performance trends, in real time, across our different channels (geographies, partners, products).

GTM business Case development: You will own the creation and challenge of new business cases, including new products and new geographies.

Strategic and financial planning: You will partner with leaders across the business to build robust forecasts/models and work closely with central FP&A team to design, maintain & evolve financial models by partner, geography, and product type. You will be a key driver our financial planning processes (e.g., Monthly Reviews, Forecasts, Annual
Budget, and Long-Range Plan).

Ensuring cross functional alignment: You will act as a key bridge between bridge between the Finance, Commercial, and Strategy teams.
What you’ll need to be successful
The skills you will need:

Strong quantitative and technical skills including complex financial modelling and data analysis. The ability to use tools such as SQL / Python, or a willingness to learn, is a must.

You can navigate around a P&L. You are financially literate and understand what it means to set financial budgets and plans.

You can operate at all levels: You are able both to have a conversation with our CEO about new product strategy, and with our frontline teams about customer journey optimisation.

Experience working with, and modelling, financial products.
Who you’ll be working with
You will report directly to Head of Growth and act as a key bridge between the Finance, Commercial, and Strategy teams.
Liberis is a global team of 200+ people and you’ll probably interact with most of them in this role!
