‘India Commercial Sales Lead’ will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling a team of high-performing Commercial Account Executives targeting North America.
The ideal candidate will possess a results-driven and action-oriented mindset, playing a pivotal role in promoting execution excellence and laying the groundwork for revenue growth and account expansion.
Prior sales experience of working with North American clients is mandatory.
US Shift Role - 8 PM to 5 AM IST
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and develop Commercial Account Executives to drive high performance. Promote a culture of motivation, growth, and continuous development within the team.
- Customer Acquisition and Growth: Design and implement strategies to acquire new customers from assigned territory and sustainably grow revenue from existing accounts.
- Pipeline Management and Development: Equip the team with the skills and tools necessary for prospecting, and developing a robust sales pipeline.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams - Product, Professional Services, and Customer Success - to ensure seamless execution and enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Data-Driven Strategy Execution: Analyze industry trends and performance metrics to inform strategic decisions and accelerate results. Continuously monitor sales forecasts to ensure accuracy and predictability.
- Account Expansion: Identify opportunities for expansion within the existing customer base and focus on long-term customer success.
Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: 5+ years of leading direct sales teams of Commercial Account Executives. Proven ability to coach and develop individual team members.
- Sales Expertise: 7+ years of experience selling complex enterprise SaaS solutions with a disciplined, process-driven approach. Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales quotas. Prior sales experience of working with North American clients is mandatory.
- Time Shift: Willingness and ability to work in North American time shift to effectively engage with customers and team of account executives.
- Proven Track Record: History of achieving and surpassing sales targets at individual as well as at leadership level.
- Data Utilization: Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive predictable sales outcomes.
- Industry Expertise: Experience of selling to revenue enablement, revenue operations and sales leadership roles would be highly preferred.
- Deal-Making Proficiency: Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, with a proven ability to uncover customer needs, qualify leads, create pipelines, advance opportunities, and secure new business.
- Driving Renewals: Strong experience in driving and managing renewals within existing customer base.
- Working with diverse teams: Recognized for building and maintaining strong relationships with senior leadership. Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Talent Development: Proven success in identifying, interviewing, and building high-performing sales teams.
- Team Player: A natural team player promoting positive culture and company values through actions and leadership.
