Commercial Proposal Manager (m/f/d)

As Commercial Proposal Manager (m/f/d) within the new units sales team you are responsible to lead commercial and technical discussions with customers to determine and develop best solution for individual sales opportunities, to prepare commercial proposals and to participate in contract negotiations. You are therefore an important contributor to the new unit order intake.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Determine best commercial and technical solution for individual sales opportunity with special focus on data center application
  • Commercial and technical presentations of product features to customers, consultants and developers
  • Create project specific technical specifications and description for the products
  • Independent creation of project specific commercial and technical proposals e.g. sales contracts, technical information of offered scope of supply
  • Work closely with customer stakeholders to influence project requirements
  • Capability of leading project teams for specific sales opportunities
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events

Your Profile:

  • Higher Technical College (e.g. HTL), bachelor or master’s degree in a commercial or technical discipline such as, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical engineering or business science
  • Very good working experience in the relevant industry, preferably in reciprocating engine industry
  • Experience in commercial and/or technical sales and/or preparation of commercial and/or technical proposals
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% 
  • Fluent in English, additional language is a plus

The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.112,78 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
