About the role
As a Commercial Principal for the Private Equity team at Dialectica, you will be key in driving growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Private Equity, you will lead a team of professionals and oversee all aspects of our service offerings to Private Equity clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Commercial Leadership
- Develop and implement strategies to drive commercial growth and increase market share within the Private Equity market.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our service offerings and generate revenue growth.
- Drive the development of innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of Private Equity clients and differentiate our offerings in the market.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing Private Equity clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and identify ways to deliver added value through our services.
- Regularly visit clients to build rapport, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
Business Development
- Lead the business development efforts within the Private Equity division, including prospecting, lead generation, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and collateral to attract new clients and promote our services effectively.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to raise our profile and generate new business leads.
Team Leadership and Development
- Provide inspirational leadership to the Private Equity services team, setting clear goals and expectations for performance and growth.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering team members to achieve their full potential.
- Mentor and coach team members to develop their soft skills, commercial acumen, and client relationship management capabilities.
Flexibility
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry events as required.
- Manage travel efficiently to maximize client-facing time and ensure effective coverage of key accounts/individuals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field; MBA preferred.
- Professional services / consulting / research or equivalent experience; transactions experience highly valued
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities for revenue growth and market expansion.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering exceptional value to clients and driving business growth.
