Commercial Manager - Advertising & Partner Analytics

We’re now excited to find a new data driven commercial manager to join our team in Miami. We’re looking for someone who is happy at the intersection of data and sales and who can unlock scale and growth for our partners.

As the Commercial Manager, you will cooperate with our data team to build centralized reports and dashboards used by the broader commercial team for daily management of their business areas and, in collaboration with   your commercial colleagues you will optimize some of our largest and fastest growing advertising partners. By developing a deep understanding of their goals,  we can deliver increased value for our partners, using levers from pricing to account structure to do so, ensuring they are getting the most from our media solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with commercial managers on a suite of key partners, with a specific focus on unlocking growth in terms of budgets and value for our partners
  • Using our extensive first party data to shape proposals that take partners to new heights
  • Look beyond a single account to deliver the right outcome for Skyscanner overall
  • Utilise the data at your fingertips to solve complex problems and measure what success could look like for any given partner based on their strategy and objectives
  • Drive best practice across accounts, leveraging your position to join the dots
  • Familiarity with key analytical tools (tableau, power BI)
  • Willingness to learn SQL
  • Being able to join the dots and spot patterns between different partner types
  • The ability to prioritise to ensure timely delivery on many parallel workstreams
  • Ability to translate data insights into clear and actionable insights, explaining technical details to advertising commercial team

Here’s a few things we’d look for

  • Experience in a commercial, analyst or yield management role
  • Deeply analytical; with both the technical skills to perform your own analysis but also the ability to turn this analysis into insight and impact
  • Inquisitive; we want you to challenge the status quo and constantly ask why to unlock opportunities to optimise
  • Experience in managing partner relationships to deliver value for both sides
  • Comfortable with constant change, fast paced tech environment, and always look at your work as an opportunity for personal growth
  • Experience with programmatic advertising a plus – doubly so if in a mixed programmatic and direct sales environment
  • Bi-lingual Spanish & English or  Portuguese/English
