What you’ll do:
As part of the Commercial team, your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a key point of contact to our external partners - monitoring performance, handling issues and managing strategic projects which support our partnerships.
- Analysing commercial data and working closely with the rest of the commercial team in order to make recommendations on trading and optimising revenues.
- Producing and automating reports to present your insights internally and externally.
- Staying abreast of industry news and conducting research in order to qualify new entrants and business development opportunities
Here’s what a normal day in the job might look like:
- Running daily checks on business performance, including CRM activity and presenting the latest trends and opportunities to the team.
- Using our BI tool, ThoughtSpot, to review a partner’s performance metrics ahead of a monthly meeting. Preparing a report highlighting key insights and opportunities to share with the partner during the meeting.
- Attending a cross-functional workshop on the build of a new product feature and representing the commercial point of view
- Using our content management system to make product updates, ensuring that the content on our app is up to date and accurate for customers
Succeeding in your first few months includes:
- Being inquisitive and proactive in learning about our product and our business goals. By the end of probation, you should be able to articulate how we engage and monetise customers.
- Understanding the key metrics we track (KPIs) as a business and as a commercial team. By the end of probation, you should have a clear view of how we can influence these.
- Developing trusted relationships with your set external partners. By the end of probation, you should be seen as the primary point of contact in these relationships.
- Mastering day-to-day operations including managing partner relationships, reporting and analysis. By the end of probation, you should confidently own and deliver these key operations.
Requirements
We believe the skills you need to succeed in this role do not rely upon a strict background, so we encourage applications from either recent graduates, or those who have gained their experience on the job.

- You are organised and efficient, which means you’re comfortable working on several projects at the same time.
- You have great written and verbal communication skills and can use these to build strong internal and external relationships.
- You are numerate and enjoy interrogating data and trends in order to draw insights and make recommendations.
- You are excited by the opportunity to join a young business, and a high-performance team.

The hiring process:
Once we’ve received your application, we’ll take a good look before getting in touch with you to discuss the next steps of the process. This will include:
- Phone screening with people team (15mins)
- Virtual maths test (max. 30mins)
- First stage interview with hiring manager (45mins)
- Second stage interview with COO, including an in-the-room assessment (60mins)
- Final round chat with CEO (30 mins)
