The Commercial Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing the commercial strategy of our organization within the consumer finance sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, developing key partnerships, and enhancing market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics in the financial services industries.
Requirements
Merchants Acquistion and Partnerships:
- Lead a team of sales professional across all regions to drive revenue growth and exceed sales target and to ensure efficient onboarding of new merchants.
- Handle issues and complaints related to merchant accounts and transactions.
- Implement strategies to maintain a healthy and active merchant network.
- Develop and implement sales and Partnerships strategies to increase customer acquisition and engagement.
- Oversee the Direct Sales team and their activities in onboarding new customers.
- Set performance goals and objectives for the sales team.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
- Grant CF limits to customers, enabling them to make purchases from our merchant network.
- Work to increase traffic and sales on our app by listing products from merchants.
Client Management:
- Manage key client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to drive loyalty and retention.
- Build and expand mylo's network of merchants across various industries.
- Monitor the health of the merchant network, ensuring its profitability and activity.
- Develop and execute strategies to attract new merchants and retain existing ones.
- Identify market trends and opportunities within each category.
- Develop strategies to optimize sales and profitability within each category.
Strategic Planning:
- Developed and implement strategic plan to expend market share and increase customer base.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for product development and innovation.
- Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market development and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial leadership roles within the financial services or FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of product development processes and customer needs in financial services.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
