Fraport Greece (FG), in the framework of the operation of the 14 Regional Airports, seeks for a " Commercial Analyst" in the Commercial & Business Development Department.
As a member of the Commercial & Business Development team the role will be a significant contributor of Company's data-driven decision making and revenue maximization. The Commercial Analyst analyses sales’ figures and other performance indicators for the different Account Categories of the Commercial & Business Development Department (COM) at Fraport Greece. He/She cooperates with all involved parties for the overall growth of COM and contributes to the commercial planning and development of commercial strategies.
The position reports to the Retail Development Manager.
Location: Athens-HQ (Maroussi - Attiki)
Responsibilities
- Monitors the retail and real estate performance of all concessionaires/tenants and promptly produces all necessary daily/weekly/monthly and annual reports.
- Performs variance analysis against Budget and Forecast.
- Reviews records from previous periods and compares them to current figures, looking for patterns or discrepancies and identifying trends and areas of improvement or update.
- Coordinates with all divisions of COM and prepares the annual budget and the interim quarterly forecasts.
- Utilizes experience in processes, systems and reporting tools to deliver timely analysis and insights.
- Develops and monitors appropriate key performance indicators to measure commercial performance.
- Designs and develops a set of structured dashboards to facilitate internal and external processes.
- Maintains responsibility for the development of Business Intelligence tools that support commercial decision-making.
- Provides sales data, KPIs, and insights to support effective decision-making.
- Tracks revenue streams from all concessionaires and tenants.
- Acts as an interface of COM to internal and external stakeholders regarding the business analysis.
- Assists in the development of standard agreements as well as proposals for contract amendments (prolongations, new agreements, terminations) in line with the overall commercial concept for each airport.
- Ensures delivery of special projects within reasonable timeframes.
- Coordinates and implements joint audit inspections to the concessionaires/tenants and coordinates and performs on-the-spot inspections of their cash register system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and/or Finance or other similar fields.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Fluent in English and Greek (both spoken and written, at a professional corporate level).
- Sound general knowledge (besides industry trends, overall economic developments, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Power BI & SAP.
- Military obligations fulfilled, if applicable.
- Position requires occasional travel to our airports
- Master's Degree in relevant field will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of econometric modelling and forecasting methodologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

- Ability to consolidate and interpret complex data into comprehensible reports and actionable information.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) interpersonal and cooperation skills
