GENERAL SUMMARY:
In service of supporting Aspire Public Schools to achieve their academic targets, the College and Career Pathways Manager is responsible for promoting Aspire’s mission of graduating students who are college, career, and life ready by leveraging relationships within local, regional, state, and national communities to ensure students have the means, opportunity, and preparation to succeed in college and in the workplace. The College and Career Pathways Manager manages the implementation and ongoing improvement of dual enrollment, career exposure, career exposure pathways, and Career Technical Education (CTE) pathways at their respective school site. Reporting to the Principal and in close collaboration with their respective Regional Team, this impactful role also supports the development of high quality secondary programming at Aspire Public Schools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Pathway Programs and Operations
Programs, Operations, and Management
Support with master scheduling in alignment with pathway development
Coordinate pathway teacher training and externship opportunities
Hire and supervise other members of the Pathway team (internships coordinators, pathways coaches, etc.), as appropriate
Develop pathway marketing materials and family/community communication plan and implementation
Monitor pathway data and key deliverables, communicate data and results to key stakeholders
Develop and execute MOUs and partnership agreements with partner organizations
Help develop and execute a comprehensive early college, career, and externship program at his/her/their respective site
Collaborate with partner college(s) to develop CTE/Pathway aligned sequence of college courses
Collaborate with the Pathway Advisory Board, local industry partners and pathway teachers to develop curriculum and work-based learning experiences aligned to industry need
Pursue and support with pathways grants and the implementation and monitoring of grant-related measures, funding, and needs
Works closely with the Regional Instructional Leadership Team and and Data Team to maximize the ability of Aspire Public Schools to interrupt inequities in college preparedness for our young people.
Collaborates with Regional Operations teams to coordinate events and support facilities upgrades.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Work Based Learning
Coordinate a continuum of work-based learning (WBL) opportunities with external partners
Promote the integration of career concepts and work-based learning opportunities into academic courses, the academic advising program, and within the school community more broadly
Support Academic Counselors with WBL alignment and A-G UC Course creation and submission
Serve as a soft skills coach as appropriate
Additional:
Work in collaboration with Principal, school site teammates, and Regional Office to achieve site and organizational goals
Perform other related duties as related and assigned including but not limited to student supervision, small group student advising, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Knowledge of A-G, early college programming, and guided college pathways preferable (or interest in learning)
Excellent organization and time management skills

Our salary range based on years of experience for this position type is reflected here: $83,005-$106,554 per year.
