We are looking for a bright, hardworking, curious and passionate Collections Team Lead to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to join a fast-growing digital advertising company, develop an amazing team and take the collections operations to the next level!
The Impact You'll Make:
Manage a team of collections and cash application analysts.
Meeting weekly to review account trends, identify escalation points, and assist with outreach when needed
Manage a strategic account portfolio of customer receivables and work to maximize cash flow by solving customer payment issues
Full cycle of accounts receivable past due balances, including research, analysis, account reconciliations, and application of cash for global agencies, brands and publishers
Calling customers and scheduling resolution sessions to understand the procure-to-pay cycles and address pain points
Resolving invoice discrepancies by collaborating with internal teams as needed
Maintain customer relationships by responding timely and accurately to both internal (company) and external (client directly) questions and requests for information through email and client facing ticketing system (Zendesk)
Understand the Innovid billing processes to provide guidance to customers, identify defects and improve resolution of AR
Escalating when appropriate to direct manager and/or senior leaders
Keeping detailed notes, task creation and reminders in our collection’s tools
Providing detailed updates to internal leadership teams on the customer account status and path to resolving outstanding issues
Work on a collection system dashboard project
Provide internal reporting
What You'll Bring to Us:
+2 years of people management experience
+5 years of AR/Collections experience
Advanced English skills
Experience working with International clients (US is highly preferred)
Experience within operational teams in a related industry (Advertising, Technology, Digital environments) - Highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead and encourage others
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance - Preferred
Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Especially Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookup) and handling multiple systems simultaneously.
High attention to detail - accuracy is the most important metric.
Ability to adapt to ever changing environments.
