Tyler Technologies is growing, and we are looking to hire a Collection Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team. This position is responsible for a portfolio of customers which is made up of City, State and Local Government entities. The ideal candidate will have prior high-volume call experience with strong negotiation and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Interact professionally with external customers on all collection issues, including making collection calls.
- Work with other members of the collections team to determine and carry out the best method to resolve delinquent accounts.
- Provide statements, invoices and information to internal and external customers as needed to assist in resolving collection issues.
- Create and maintain positive relationships with external customers and internal partners to assist in timely payments and customer issue resolution.
- Prioritize and complete multiple collection efforts in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Call experience
- Accounting background is helpful.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
