What is this role about :You will be part of the Operations team at Fi and head the overall collections charter for any secured or unsecured lending products across our partner ecosystem.
Roles and responsibilities
- Build and Lead a dynamic and lean collections org that would include an in-house team and agency network for Fi.
- Responsible for monitoring, controlling and reporting on key metrics on portfolio performance to all key stakeholders.
- Institutionalize robust feedback mechanism through hindsighting of delinquent customers to improve credit risk policies.
- Provide thought leadership and guide the organization on building a state of the art collections function.
- Effectively engage business finance to budget for and help plan, manage and optimize overall Cost of collections.
- Drive the process excellence & innovation charter through product interventions, workflow automations & partnership opportunities to help control delinquencies.
- Build a quantifiable deeper understanding of customer segments and formulate dynamic strategies and customized curing approaches for each.
- Engage and collaborate with internal user risk and credit risk teams to develop early warning signals and provide feedback to existing signals.
- Explore and experiment with network, processes and collections constructs to keep optimizing ways of working and be ahead of the pack.
- Be the compliance custodian for collections and standardize and implement a code of conduct across processes, communications and other touch points.
- Build and leverage Industry connects for continued market research, benchmarking and uplevelling of internal collections policies.
- Identify and surface partner pain points and opportunities for improvements and find structural solves to achieve business goals.
- Set aspirational performance goals for the team and drive a culture that thrives on consistently exceeding targets and delivering results.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in collections/supply chain/logistics/network design in the Fintech/E-Commerce industry.
- Strong analytical skills, data driven approach and experience in handling complex numerical and statistical analysis methods.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and experience in engaging cross functional teams, external stakeholders & senior leadership.
- Experience in building and leading teams/managing programs.
