The James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) Nonproliferation Education Program is seeking one Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) for the Fall 2024 (possibly beyond that). CNS is one of the largest nongovernmental organizations in the world devoted to research and training on nonproliferation issues. The center's mission is to combat the spread of weapons of mass destruction by training the next generation of nonproliferation specialists and disseminating timely information and analysis.
CNS Education Program GRA will work with CNS Education Project staff members to help coordinate Education Program-related activities including the Critical Issues Forum https://sites.middlebury.edu/criticalissuesforum/ (nonproliferation and disarmament education project for high school students), Summer Undergraduate Internship Program https://sites.middlebury.edu/summerintern/, and other education project- related activities. This position is mainly administrative and logistical work to implement education projects with possible research projects related nonproliferation and disarmament education. Experience in major Social Media platforms, especially Instagram, WordPress, CANVA and basic video editing skills is highly desirable.
We are looking for GRAs who can actively reach out to younger generations (mainly high school students and college students) for disarmament and nonproliferation education!!
CNS provides a range of research opportunities with various funding sources. Individuals hired to work under Federal Contracts containing the FAR 52.222-54 clause will be subject to E-Verify.
