• The CNC Machine Operator will operate computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. Loads parts in the machine, cycles machine, detects malfunctions in machine operations such as worn or damaged cutting tools. Run production lots, communicate with co-workers regarding production runs and maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Fabricate as required - shear saw, and drill component parts to meet Company quality standards. Must be capable of reading engineering drawings and blueprints. To assemble all products per engineering specifications assuring all products meet quality performance and appearance standards.
• Perform CNC Machining operations
• Polish and deburr parts
• Saw and shear parts per engineering specifications
• Inspect machined products

Requirements

High School diploma required. Technical training and or work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but we'll train the right candidates too.

This position is standard shift; M-THR 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with the possibility of overtime on a daily basis and on Friday's if required.

I further understand that my employment with Salina Vortex will have a sixty (60) days benefit waiting period, and further that at any time during the waiting period or thereafter, my employment relation with Salina Vortex is terminable at will for any reason by either party.
