Summary:
CNC machinists produce parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; adheres to quality and safety standards; completes accurate quality records as per SIS ISO standard requirements; maintains the minimal daily maintenance requirements of equipment and supplies.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

•Ability to proficiently operate a 3rd machine type of one of the following (mills, lathes, routers, and moulder)
•Ability to perform all machine operations which include set-up, programming, tooling, etc. on 3 machine types
•Ability to effectively train the trainer of 3 machine types
•Set department KPIs and work on department continuous improvement projects
•Ability to identify department inefficiencies and create action plans to address
•Effectively lead team meetings and communicate to plant management as necessary
•Ability to create production schedules and priority orders for the department
•Ability to back-up Engineering responsibilities
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has minimal supervisory responsibilities. Individuals will be required to assist, train, and develop lower-level machinists in their duties, responsibilities, and accountabilities.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED Required.
2 year related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of continued education and experience.
$25-$30/hr. Based on experience.
