Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a CMO Packaging Engineering Officer for the Supply Chain /CMOs department at our Marousi premises.

As a CMO Packaging Engineering Officer the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the lifecycle processes for all packaging components including troubleshooting and optimization to improve safety, quality and efficiency on packaging lines.

Requirements

What you will do:

  • Provide actively support to external manufacturing production at various CMO sites
  • Provide packaging structural engineering, development and design support
  • Coordinate structural and artwork development process with graphic designers for new SKU development, commercial launches, and manage routine artwork changes
  • Initiate and execute primary, secondary, and tertiary package design projects
  • Maintain packaging database - create and edit packaging documentation and specifications as needed
  • Develop dielines for artwork in collaboration with the manufacturing facilities
  • Initiate change control for packaging related changes at CMO. Review and approve packaging documentation to support CMO activities as needed
  • Manage projects related to new product launch packaging activities, facilities, and manufacturing changes
  • Provide packaging oversight for activities, troubleshoot for startup, new product or SKU launches  and support on-going production

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor/Master in engineering, Materials Science
  • At least 2 years of experience in packaging operations in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical or consumer products)
  • Experience in a variety of packaging on both primary and secondary/tertiary packaging

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Experience with cGMP’s and Quality Systems
  • Experience in project leadership skills and ability to develop effective working processes and relationships with internal/external partners and cross-functional project teams
  • Device or combination product experience is considered a plus
  • Excellent communication in English language (writing and speaking)
  • Proficient SAP user. APO experience is considered a plus
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
