The HALO Trust is the world’s largest and oldest international humanitarian mine action non-government organisation (INGO). For over thirty years we have been saving lives and helping war-torn communities recover, by making their land safe. Our mission is to protect lives and restore the livelihoods of those affected by conflict.
HALO is known for its work to clear landmines, but we also lead on dealing with unexploded ordnance, from bullets to aircraft bombs, and we educate communities to keep them safe. In addition, we build safe arms stores and systems for securing guns. HALO was established in Afghanistan in 1988 and now employs over 12,000 staff in 30 countries and territories.
Are you passionate about technology? This is your chance to join a close-knit team making a real difference. The HALO Trust, a sector-leading humanitarian NGO, is seeking an enthusiastic Cloud Systems Specialist to join our team.
Working under the supervision of the Head of ICT you will design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud-based systems and services. This includes working with a variety of cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will also work with other teams and departments to ensure that cloud-based systems are integrated in a secure and efficient manner.
