Ardent is seeking a Cloud Support Specialist  to join our team.  

This is an on-site role located in or near San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Position Description:

Ardent and its partners are seeking a Cloud Support Specialist. We are currently seeking a Cloud Support Specialist for a 12-month contract with the possibility of extending. The Cloud Support Specialist will work to support and maintain cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Modifying and improving existing systems.
  • Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
  • Supporting modular cloud-based systems.
  • Maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.

Requirements: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in the field of cloud computing.
  • Experience with cloud computing services in AWS (example: EC2) and Azure Virtual Machines.
  • Experience supporting on premise servers running either Physical, Hyper-V, or VMware.
  • Office 365 experience is needed for Mail, SharePoint, teams.
  • Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
