OUR NEW CLOUD OPERATIONS ENGINEER
As a Cloud Operations Engineer you will operate and manage cloud platforms, will assist both internal and external customers, implement automated ITSM processes and focus on improving and providing significant additional value. You will closely work with Cloud Automation and Platform Engineering teams and will be responsible for proactive configuration changes, ensuring minimal operational disruptions delivered via infrastructure-as-code, Azure Pipelines, or direct configuration in the portal. In this role you will also be involved in release planning and Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) planning to provide feedback and prepare for operational requirements.
SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operating and maintaining cloud platforms
- Performing monitoring of systems for errors, failures and capacity issues
- Detecting, solving and escalating incidents to appropriate support teams
- Performing patching
- Initiating the Incident Management process and coordinating Major Incidents as well as carrying out the other ITSM processes
- Establishing and updating documentation and procedures
SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as fluent in English
- Open and collaborative with strong focus on client and/or customer service experience
- Problem solving and troubleshooting
- ITIL knowledge

It would be awesome, if you have:
- Understanding of cloud computing technologies and knowing at least one of cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- A foundation in system administration (Windows and/or Linux), including performing backups, upgrades and patching
- Understanding of IT infrastructure topology, including public and private cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security and storage
