Position Overview:

Samsung SDS America is looking for a Cloud Implementation & Delivery Engineer to join our growing Cloud Solutions team. This role is essential in helping our customers successfully adopt and implement our cloud services and solutions. You will be responsible for guiding clients through the end-to-end process, providing technical expertise, and ensuring that cloud implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality.

As a part of our team, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment, supporting clients in various industries as they transition to cloud environments engineered for efficiency and scalability.

This role is primarily remote, with occasional requirements for onsite client support or collaboration. Effective communication and collaboration across different time zones will be key in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs assessments and develop detailed implementation plans tailored to client requirements, objectives, and service offerings.
• Lead implementations of cloud solutions for clients, managing timelines, expectations, and deliverables effectively.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, IT operations, and project management, to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support through the entire implementation process, addressing and resolving issues promptly.
• Design, build, and configure cloud infrastructures that are resource-efficient and best meet client needs.
• Conduct training sessions for client teams to ensure they are proficient in using cloud solutions post-implementation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending industry best practices and innovative approaches to enhance their cloud strategies.
• Document implementation processes, requirements, and communication with stakeholders to provide clear records for future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud solutions implementation and support (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, deployment models, and principles of cloud security.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
