This role is in the Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic.

In this role, you will become a member of the team responsible for DNS gateways that are the cornerstones of many of our products. These gateways are deployed in our clusters all over the globe, and it will be your responsibility to keep them in a good shape. You will be cooperating closely with the team of developers who are the main contributors and maintainers into these gateways and other microservices that form our infrastructure. You will definitely be in touch with other Cloud Engineers in our Secure Connectivity unit, addressing the issues and coming up with improvements that take our infrastructure to another level.
As part of our team, you'll get to develop, deploy, and maintain production environments using automation tools and techniques like Infrastructure as Code, Configuration as Code, Serverless, and Containerization. You'll play a key role in ensuring that our system designs and configurations follow the best security practices.
In this role, you'll help evaluate, plan, configure, and implement new microservices. A big part of your job will be applying your networking skills into our cloud-native environment.
You'll manage sensitive data, backups, permissions and auditing. If you're up for it, you can join our on-call rotation (not mandatory), where we handle alerts and assist in disaster recovery for the services we're responsible for.
As a member of our Agile Team, you'll be involved in code reviews, velocity estimation, planning, and other Agile workflows. We value good communication and collaboration with Product Owners, Development teams, and Cloud and Delivery teams to keep everything running smoothly.
You'll also help create and maintain technical documentation and take on other tasks as needed, following our departmental policies and procedures. If you're looking for a dynamic and supportive team, we'd love to have you on board!
We're looking for a candidate with at least one year of experience in various key areas. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in Continuous Integration tools and techniques such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Github Actions, as well as proficiency in configuration management and deployment tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Experience in systems administration or a similar role focused on performance analysis, capacity planning, and forecasting is also required.
Additionally, candidates should have at least a year of experience with the administration of Linux systems.
