We are growing fast, and we are now looking for a DevOps / Cloud Engineer, who knows Docker inside and out, to ensure stability in the production-grade of the most loved SMB messaging collaboration tool.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure software quality in production-grade for projects and products delivery
- Evaluate cloud strategy and program architecture
- Work on system requirements with application architects and owners
- Generate scripts and templates required for the automatic provisioning of resources
- Collaborate with the engineering teams to enable their applications to run on cloud infrastructure.
- Take ownership of customer Cloud issues and follow up on the status of problems
- Handling major incidents by coordinating with multiple teams
- Manage GKE infrastructure, to maintain HIGH availability and Security

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in real-time chat applications with the volume of tens of millions of messages sent monthly
- Ability to work independently even under pressure.
- Knowledge / Experience on Application and Infrastructure security.
- CompTIA Security+ , CEH, CISSP, OSCP certification
- AWS / GCP associate level certification.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in handling Production
- Minimum 2 year of handling Kubernetes on Production
- Able to work 12pm to 9pm IST time.

- Cloud -- AWS / GCP
- Containerization / Orchestration -- Docker, Kubernetes (GKE, EKS), HELM chart, Istio service mesh (+)
- Serverless -- AWS Lambda, API Gateway, GCP Cloud functions, GCP CloudRun
- CI / CD -- Jenkins, GCP Cloud build
- Scripting -- BASH or Python
- Monitoring -- AWS Cloudwatch / GCP monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana
- Infrastructure as a code -- Cloudformation & Terraform
- Security -- AWS Security groups, WAF, GCP firewalls, Cloudflare WAF
- Knowledge of Containerization technologies such as Docker and Pivotal Cloud Foundry Docker, OpenStack, and Public cloud delivery
- Know-how with AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP
- Experience with serverless architecture and tech stack e.g. CloudRun, serverless functions, event queue, etc
- Ability to work on Kubernetes, CI/CD, and scripting languages like bash, python
- To architect a highly distributed cloud system and respond to operational issues.
- Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
