We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to work remotely from anywhere in Latin America.

The responsibilities of this position are:
Cloud and DevOps Team Leadership:
- Responsible for supporting and evolving SaaS solution infrastructures across major cloud providers.
- Mentor in cloud design, automation, and scaling practices.
Kubernetes Expertise:
- Manage migration to Kubernetes.
- Strategize deployments for scalability and security.
- Oversee monitoring and integration with CI/CD.
Direct Cloud Environment Support and Evolution:
- Lead SaaS infrastructure support and efficiency.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of our applications, particularly those using .NET running on Windows servers.
Implementation Support and Technical Collaboration:
- Provide technical guidance during service implementations.
- Collaborate with providers, clients, and IT teams.
Proactive Issues Resolution and Incident Management:
- Resolve critical cloud issues and conduct root cause analysis.
- Coordinate timely issue resolution and continuous assessment.
Additional Hands-On Responsibilities:
- Spearhead cloud and infrastructure projects.
- Active involvement in Linux, Microsoft, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience supporting applications, networks, and infrastructure in a Cloud environment (preferably Azure).
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer with expertise in .NET applications and Windows server management.
- Proven leadership in Kubernetes adoption and utilization.
- Experience with core Cloud services such as VMs, Load Balancers, Functions, Scale sets, Azure Application Insights/NewRelic/Other telemetry platforms, API Management, Blob storage, Service Bus, etc.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure design, security practices, and CI/CD methodologies.
- Preferred experience in maintaining continuous integration and IAC environments, including multi-region failover and zero-downtime deployments.
- Experience in a retail environment (applications, POS, or network).
- Strong knowledge of Cloud-native principles, best practices, and tooling.
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and testing processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, internally and with clients.
- Ability to independently solve complex problems and work effectively under pressure.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with the latest cloud technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Experience with disaster recovery (DR) planning and implementation in the cloud.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
