For one of our clients, we are looking for a Cloud Architect, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will design and implement innovative, scalable, and secure cloud architectures that maximize the potential of AWS and Google Cloud. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders, ensuring that cloud solutions align with enterprise needs while optimizing costs and performance. Your expertise will guide the development of cloud-native strategies, governance, and security measures, all while driving digital transformation within the organization.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and execute cloud strategy in line with business objectives, leveraging AWS and Google Cloud.
• Design scalable and secure cloud architectures, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Implement governance, security, and compliance standards across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, DevOps, product) to implement cloud-native solutions.
• Optimize cloud resource allocation to reduce operational costs and drive cost efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with expertise in AWS and Google Cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and serverless computing.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex cloud solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
