About Clinical Training Specialist - Houston,TX:

As a Clinical Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within the US Training team, with emphasis on training surgeons, nurses, reprocessing technicians , as well as the onboarding and certifying of new Clinical Sales Specialists. You will also manage the day-to-day activities of a local training center. Your efforts will ensure that our stakeholders across USA have the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles and provide the highest level of care to our customers.

Tasks:

Training Delivery

  • Conduct training sessions for new Surgeons, Nurses, and Reprocessing Technicians, both in dry lab and wet lab settings, as well as on-site as needed.
  • Upon Training Curriculum Manager approval, customize training materials and methods to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders.

On-boarding and Certification

  • Deliver internal training programs to onboard and certify new Clinical Specialists, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills required for their roles.
  • Oversee the certification process, assessing and evaluating trainees & performance.

Central Training Center Management

  • Manage the Training center relationship with owners, internal & external stakeholders including stock, logistic and maintenance.
  • Conducting training sessions using different modalities (porcine, cadaveric, inanimate, etc).

Refresher & continuous Training

  • Plan and execute refresher training programs to ensure that stakeholders & knowledge and skills remain up-to-date.
  • Perform continuous training to ensure all stakeholders have optimal skills and knowledge.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand training requirements and align training delivery with company goals.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance assessments.
  • Prepare regular reports on training outcomes and provide insights for improvements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in medical device training
  • Background in MedTech environment, laparoscopy and/or robotic is a plus
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Resilience and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages a plus.
