Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider.   Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania operates 10 health centers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Nationwide, Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 600 health centers, providing medical services and sexuality education for millions of individuals (adults and teens) each year. We also work with allies worldwide to ensure that all people have the right and the means to meet their sexual and reproductive health care needs.

PPSP Research offers a mix of clinical and socio behavioral research at our health centers. We work with research partners to conduct innovative studies that aim to improve access to and quality of sexual and reproductive health care for our patients. Our primary goal is to learn about issues affecting our patients, barriers to their care, and how well new technologies and products work for them so that we can be better providers and advocates.
The Clinical Research Coordinator position is a full-time (35 hour/week), on-site/ in-person role working in Center City Philadelphia, Upper Darby, and other PPSP health centers across the region. This position is responsible for a range of activities in Phase II-IV clinical research studies in accordance with good clinical practices, standard operating procedures, study protocols, and contractual specifications. 
The key responsibilities for the position are:
•Study participant recruitment and enrollment, including informed consent 
•Study documentation and data entry
•Specimen storage and shipping 
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; college graduate preferred with minimum of one year experience in research and/or health care. 
Candidate must exhibit:
•Excellent written/oral communication, organizational, customer service, analytical, and problem solving skills; 
•Ability to be detail oriented and able to enter, track and manage data in various databases; 
•A commitment to accuracy and quality; 
•The ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines; 
•The ability to work independently and take initiative to address issues with minimal supervision.
