Cortica is looking for a full time Clinic Aide to join its growing team in Westlake Village, CA!  

As Clinic Aide, you will support a rapidly growing organization focused on the delivery of clinical and operational excellence. In this role, you will work with the cross-section of site team members, assisting on all aspects of operations that impact the patient journey. What will you do? 

  • Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, equipment, common areas, and gym  
  • Maintain center cleanliness for clients and team members by following proper safety and cleaning procedures and protocols 
  • Provide equipment and supplies for therapist access 
  • Assist with therapy equipment maintenance and the need for any repairs 
  • Participate in the therapeutic experience of the client under the guidance of licensed clinician as needed 
  • Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures and center-specific safety guidelines 
  • Support clinicians by facilitating smooth client transitions between sessions according to the schedule 
  • Supervise clients while waiting for a clinician or parent as needed 
  • Provide support and create a soothing environment during emergency codes 
  • Assist with Front Office Administrator responsibilities such as greeting clients, answering phones, checking-in clients, collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments, preparing charts, scanning/faxing documents, and other administrative duties as needed 
  • Assist with the open/close procedures for the clinic 
  • Monitor center inventory and inform Front Office Administrator or Operations Manager of any needed supplies 
  • Collaborate with Front Desk Administrator to distribute mail and packages 
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks assigned by the Operations Manager or Area Director 
  • Practice knowledge of HIPAA policies and guidelines while communicating client matters 
     

We’d love to hear from you if: 

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent. 
  • You have completed health science related courses, developed knowledge of anatomy/physiology, and have an interest in pursuing a career in healthcare. 
  • You have a minimum of 1 year of administrative experience in an office setting.
  • You are highly reliable and well-organized. 
  • You have excellent communication skills. 
  • You are skilled at using software and systems including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.  
  • In this role you are occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl; reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.   
  • In this role you must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.  
  • You preferably have knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.

The base pay range for this opening is $17.74/hr to $22.18/hr. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
