Job Purpose
To provide administrative support and customer facing support to the DNA laboratory. The role requires regular liaison with external and internal customers, call handling, providing reports and dealing with sample enquiries, in addition to data entry onto CLIMS. A Client Services Administrator is required to work flexibly to ensure that all contractual TRT’s are delivered for internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provide support to all area’s of the DNA Centre
- Timely and accurate data entry
- Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure queries are dealt with in a timely professional manor
- Send daily, weekly and monthly reports to customers, as detailed in operation protocols
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customers, having awareness of their different traits and organisational cultures
- Adhere Customer Operational Protocols and ensure any changes are communicated to DNA Team Lead
- Collaborate with Team Lead and Operations manager to respond to changing customer requirements and work in partnership with EFS Account Managers
- Running of invoices and responding to invoice queries from the customer
- Effectively communicate customer requests and priorities, such as urgent samples, to laboratory staff. Add urgent product codes to the system for invoicing.
- Manage release of results to external customers
- Filing, archiving and retrieval of continuity paperwork, casefiles and sample cards
- Package returns and transfers to meet courier timetable
- Action sample / exhibit detructions as required
- Take responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues
- Adhere to EFS Policies and Processes as detailed in the Employee Handbook

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills
- Maintain full competence in trained areas, including keeping up to date with method changes
- Fast and Accurate Data entry
