The Opportunity:
We, at Flywire, are looking for a bright, motivated, and hardworking Relationship Manager (RM) to work within an existing portfolio of Education Clients to build strong client relationships, drive revenue through marketing, training and integration of Flywire solutions. The RM reporting directly to the Director of Relationship Management JAPAC, will work closely with the in country Sales and RM teams, Consultants and Client Success Specialists to execute strategies designed to increase payer growth, uncover new business, increase revenue, provide accurate issue resolution and assure clients and their payers have the best payment experience and support in the industry.
- Drive Revenue by building long term relationships with senior and operational stakeholders, understanding their strategies and goals.
- Create and maintain strategic account plans for each client and groups of clients to maximize utilization, growth and revenue.
- Align Onboarding, Marketing, Training, Consultancy and support activities with client objectives to maximize growth and deliver additional revenue through up-sell and value-added services
- Partner with the Solutions team to ensure technical projects are delivering client outcomes
- Become a trusted adviser to your portfolio accounts, enabling an environment where best practices and innovative products will be adopted to drive both revenue and Client satisfaction
- Manage and support with commercial activities - Internal Reporting, Contract renewals, pricing negotiations and new product expansion.
- Become the established internal expert which corresponds with your account portfolio and market, with relevant payment products and potential competitors to develop and refine products and operations.
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of relationship management, account management or sales experience
- A background working in education and/or fintech (preferred)
- Experience in consultative sales; the ability to build rapport quickly, identify and diagnose business problems, demonstrate products remotely or in person and meet the specific customer needs with effective solutions
- Ability to speak to the technical aspects of a solution
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English (written and oral)
- The ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Familiarity with CRM applications. Salesforce preferred
- Ability to professionally handle client issues and implement effective resolution
