About the role
We are seeking a motivated and solution-oriented Compliance and Product Innovation Intern to join our dynamic Global Compliance and Legal Team. This role is essential in supporting the compliance and product innovation efforts across our global new products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for compliance, risk management, and acute attention to detail combined with extensive experience in research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research to stay current with evolving regulations, industry trends, and best practices in compliance and product innovation.
- Identify and curate any non-compliant information, providing recommendations for necessary adjustments.
- Thoroughly review each content for due diligence, noting any discrepancies from Dialectica’s internal policies.
- Utilize different sources to assess the validity and accuracy of information.
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of Dialectica’s compliance program to identify material non-public and confidential information in transcripts, ensuring such information is redacted in line with internal protocols, applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist all business units with ad hoc compliance-related questions and provide expert guidance.
- Draft, develop, and deliver comprehensive compliance training programs for various stakeholders within the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate compliance considerations into the product development lifecycle.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Maintain efficiency in a time-sensitive environment by staying current with internal and external communications.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Ideally 6 months of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, risk analyst, business or similar background.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs would be a plus.
- Familiarity with global regulatory environments and industry-specific compliance requirements.
- Excellent use of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
Skills:
- Strong collaborative skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and presentation capabilities.
- Keen attention to detail, with extensive experience in proofreading and research.
- Proficiency in prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and maintaining high levels of organization.
- Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Adaptability to dynamic environments and agility in response to change.
