The Role:

The role of Client Platform Engineer is to solve our most difficult IT infrastructure problems and build upstream the architecture to avoid them. You should be comfortable in guiding the IT team as the technical subject matter expert. We applaud creative ingenuity and want that passion to be brought into the management of our technical platforms. This is a hybrid role; 3 days (Tuesday-Thursday) in-office based out of our NYC HQ. We will consider full time remote for the right candidate.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues pertaining to IT hardware, software, enterprise systems and networking
  • Be the point of escalation on issues unresolved from Level 2 IT support
  • Prioritize and schedule problem resolution, escalating, when necessary, to management
  • Occasionally, provide at the elbow support as well as remote help desk support for company employees. This includes imaging workstations, setting up user accounts, installing applications, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
  • Field incoming support requests from end-users via ticketing system, telephone, email, and Slack. Support could be routed from remote users or remote offices
  • Occasional enterprise wide system implementations or maintenance requiring after hours work
  • Participate in an On-Call IT rotation schedule 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 8+ years of professional, enterprise, production level (400+ endpoints) experience providing system management of macOS / iOS in an enterprise environment
  • Vast experience administering Jamf, Okta, Jira, Google Workspace, Meraki Stack, Email Filtering and other relevant enterprise tools
  • Expert level experience with Mac Imagining tools and workflows including imaging, authentication, profile and policy management, application packaging and onsite and remote deployments
  • Expert level of CLI as well as a scripting language, preferably Python
  • Deep focus on platform security posture and compliance
  • Knowledge of best practices, emerging technologies and IT operations in a large enterprise and high availability environment
  • Demonstrable skills in creating accessible end user documentation as well as internal IT documentation

Pay Transparency.  DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
