THE OPPORTUNITY

CONTEXT:

Our IT department, international in scope (EMEA, AMER, APAC) and in full growth, is made up of around fifty experts in charge of the deployment and operation of the Ivalua Cloud which hosts the environments for our clients around the world. 

ROLE:

Here at Ivalua, we are currently looking for a Client Operations & IT Support.You will be reporting to - Manager-IT Client Ops. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining servers and workstations, hardware, software, and networks, under the supervision of the Global  IT Desktop Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US:

Install, configure, test, maintain, and update workstations, as well as server hardware and software, phones, and printers
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, or other issues
Provide technical support on-site or via phone or email
Configure computer networks and VPN
Maintains applications and/or virus protection measures
Analyses network and system logs and identifies potential issues with computer systems
Create proper documentation, diagrams, and other detailed instructions

YOUR PROFILE

If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you

Skills and experience : 

  • Minimum 5 years  of  experience as a System and Network Engineer in a production environment
  • Strong knowledge of Systems, including Microsoft technologies, and Web
  • Strong network knowledge, including HTTPS, SSL, and SFTP protocols
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting would be a plus
  • Good knowledge of REST API operating principles would be a plus
  • Good understanding of application issues in order to effectively manage priorities
  • Rigour, attention to detail, curiosity and autonomy
  • Work on week end (on call at least)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems & Networks or Cybersecurity

Soft Skills

  • Good command of English, both written and verbal, given the international dimension of the team
  • Good communication skills and writing skills
  • Motivation to evolve in a scaleup, international, dynamic and fast-growing environment.
