Client Lead, Public Affairs

Job Description: The Client Lead, Public Affairs is an ambitious and results-driven individual responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities within public affairs and policy-focused accounts. This role involves building new client relationships and expanding our market presence by delivering tailored solutions that align with client needs. The successful candidate will be eager to learn, highly motivated, and a key contributor to the company’s growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Public Affairs Intelligence: Leverage an active knowledge of current public policy news, public affairs challenges and regulatory enviro
• Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential growth accounts, generating leads through various channels including networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
• Client Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in prospective accounts, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
• Sales Presentations: Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations that align with client needs and business objectives.
• Revenue Growth: Drive new business development by managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
• Market Expansion: Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior sales team members and internal partners to ensure alignment and support in driving new business initiatives.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and key performance metrics, providing regular updates to sales management.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales,preferably in a public affairs environment.
• Experience in business development or marketing, preferably in a B2B environment, a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Compensation: $125-$140K base salary with incentive based commission
