Client Consulting Manager

Visa Consulting and Analytics drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa network clients, including financial institutions, merchants and other players. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing and operational capabilities, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The Mexico Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa largest issuers in Mexico. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability. The VCA team provides a comprehensive range of consulting services to deliver solutions that address unique challenges in areas such as improving profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments and managing risk.

The VCA team is looking for a Manager to join our consulting practice and play a role developing high impact projects for Visa clients in Mexico. The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects across our customer base, as well as support business development activities. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.

Potential engagements could include product development, program launch, customer acquisition, customer life cycle optimization, retention enhancement, benchmark analysis, profitability enhancement and others.

 

Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly energized detail-oriented individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics and high impact solutions to clients support the growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with internal and external clients and across the Visa organization. This is an individual contributor role, will be located in Mexico City

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 to 7 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree (Masters degree is not necessary but is a plus)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in consulting or strategic planning and related areas
  • Knowledge of financial services and the payments ecosystem is preferred but not necessary
  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance. Significant focus on impacting ROI
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Capacity to structure complex problems, understanding the different alternatives for their solution and provide objective and actionable recommendations
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Strong leadership skills to develop and guide conversations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, story-telling and presentation skills
  • Team minded
  • Technology mindset, curious, up-to-date with digital trends and applications
