JOB TITLE: Cleaning Supervisor

SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
PAY RATE: £14.50 PER HOUR

As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations of our client's office spaces during the shift. Your attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and ability to motivate a team will contribute to the overall success of our facility service solutions. The Cleaning Supervisor also performs cleaning duties as needed to support the team and ensure all tasks are completed on time.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
Train and onboard new cleaning staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
Manage and maintain cleaning schedules and assignments
Provide guidance and support to cleaning staff, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure staff compliance
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure they meet the required cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Address and resolve any cleaning issues or complaints promptly.
Implement quality control procedures and ensure adherence to cleaning protocols
Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Order and restock supplies as needed to ensure cleaning operations are not interrupted.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry, preferably within a blue-chip company
Strong knowledge of office cleaning techniques, equipment, and products
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high cleaning standards
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
Must undergo security clearance
