Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Location: Building 11, Bristol Harbourside Estate, Canon's Way, Bristol, BS1 5LF
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 0730-1530
40 hours per week
Pay Rate: £12.00ph

As a Temporary Cleaning Operative, which will only be on a short term cover basis, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our client's premises. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards and following established cleaning protocols. Additionally, you will collaborate with the ABM UK team to deliver exceptional service and meet the unique needs of each client. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform general cleaning tasks in a residential building communal area, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
· Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials.
· Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and inform management when replenishment is needed.
· Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
· Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets.
· Complete special cleaning projects as assigned by Cleaning Manager PERSON SPECIFICATION:
· Previous experience in a cleaning role would be an advantage.
· Knowledge of cleaning products, materials, and techniques.Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
ESSENTIAL:
Applicants are to be made aware that the role is predominantly outdoors, and applicants will need to be operating at times in inclement weather. Full protective PPE is supplied to assist in these duties. HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Always follow Group and company policies and procedures.
· Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
· Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
· Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.
