PAY RATE: £12.00 per hour

As a Cleaning Operative at ABM UK, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our facilities meet and exceed expectations. We believe in providing customized facility solutions, tailored to the unique needs of each location, and as a Cleaning Operative, you will be an integral part of this process.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
• Empty trash cans and replace garbage bags
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and entrances
• Follow established procedures for the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
