JOB TITLE: Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: 33 Wigmore Street, W1U 1QX

HOURS: 20 hours per week

SHIFT PATTERN: M, T, W, T, F

PAY RATE: £14.15 per hour

As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of our client's premises. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards and following established cleaning protocols. Additionally, you will collaborate with the ABM UK team to deliver exceptional service and meet the unique needs of each client.

Responsibilities 

  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming. 
  • Collect crockery from desks and tables around the office, loading the dishwasher and general cleaning of the kitchen area including worktops and kitchen utensils. 
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors. 
  • Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials. 
  • Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and inform management when replenishment is needed. 
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. 
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning targets. 
  • Complete special cleaning projects as assigned by supervisor. 

Requirements 

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role would be an advantage. 
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, materials, and techniques. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently. 
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
