About the Role (your why)
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our technical support team. You’ll interact directly with customers and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You’ll be responsible for the support of server infrastructure, within contracted time frames and service level agreements. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support.
Please note that due to customer requirements, to be successful in this role you would need to be an AU Citizen and able to obtain a baseline clearance.
Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. What you’ll do
This is an excellent technical opportunity, joining a fantastic team of peers with opportunity to take your career to new heights! You will be part of our extensive Operations business who support each other working collaboratively across locations. You’ll be providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels along with maintaining technical documentation. You will also be using tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure and driving service process improvement.
We are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders’ changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs.
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role you’ll bring at least 3-5 years' experience as a System Administrator with Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies.
Your technical experience should include:
Your customer focus and communication skills will be a strength, along with an ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks. We are keen to hear of your troubleshooting, problem-solving experience, your understanding of public cloud platforms and agile operations.
