As the Chief Risk Officer, you will play a major role in defining our approach to risk management, ensuring it aligns with Hostinger's rapid growth and commitment to operational excellence. What You Will Do:

Risk Assessment and Identification: identify and evaluate risks that could affect Hostinger, including cyber threats, data breaches, technological failures, compliance violations, and operational risks. Assist relevant stakeholders in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate controls.

Incident Management and Response Planning: develop and manage incident response plans for potential risk events, especially for cyber incidents and data breaches, preparing the organization for a swift and efficient response to minimize the impact.

Stakeholder Communication: communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the board, team members, employees, and customers, regarding risk management practices, and results.

Cooperation and Risk Appetite: define risk appetite and tolerance with senior management. Work closely with the leadership team to provide insights for risk-related decisions, ensuring the effective execution of these initiatives.

Business continuity: ensure the Company has effective business continuity and disaster recovery plans in place, and regularly test these plans.

Risk Awareness: promote a culture of risk awareness via training and awareness programs, ensuring all employees understand their role in managing risk.

Policy & Compliance: ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, concerning information security, data protection, and privacy.

Reporting: continuously monitor the risk landscape, report significant risk exposures, incidents to relevant stakeholders, develop Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and prepare quarterly and yearly Risk Management reports for the Company’s Board.

Continuous Improvement: continually refine risk management practices.
What We Expect:
- Someone passionate and skilled at managing risks in both tech and non-tech areas.
- Over 3 years of risk management experience, demonstrating quick adaptability, preferably with experience in the IT sector or a deep understanding of IT operations and cybersecurity due to the technical risks involved.
- A proactive mindset with keen attention to details, always eager to tackle new challenges and experience in stakeholder management;
- A commitment to continuous learning, enhancing our team’s expertise
- Fluency in English, with a proficiency level of C1.
